Launching Mid March newbuilding number 26, the "Gladius" was launched with delivery to her Russian owner to follow shortly. Homeport of this 1940 type hydrographic survey vessel will be Archangelsk, White Sea, from where she will conduct inspection of offshore pipe-lines and survey the sea bottom in case of new pipe-line projects. Production Construction of the first two out of five pilot tenders has started, one aluminium and one steel. The casco's are expected in Groningen mid May for carpentry and further outfitting. Delivery of these first 2 units of these 22 meter tenders is foreseen by the end of this year. |
